The Potters Haven, a registered NPO established 17 years ago, provides a safe haven for abused and abandoned babies and children. From newborns to young adults, they offer a nurturing environment where children can heal, grow, and thrive.

A Lifelong Commitment: Their dedication goes beyond childhood. Upon graduation from high school, The Potters Haven assists young adults in finding employment, securing safe housing, and receiving ongoing support.

Soft Landings: A Partnership for Change: Since 2006, Soft Landings has been a vital partner, providing crucial support for The Potters Haven. This includes participation in the Soft Landings feeding scheme, as well as assistance with rent, water, and electricity. Thanks to their collaboration, over 200 children have found a safe space at The Potters Haven throughout the years.

The Need for Continued Support: Today, The Potters Haven cares for 15 children, many of whom have been with them for over a decade. Due to the prevalence of drug and alcohol abuse in their backgrounds, most of these children have special needs requiring constant care and medication. The continued support of Soft Landings and the community is essential for their ongoing work.

A Legacy of Hope: In their 25 years, The Potters Haven has transformed the lives of over 180 children. They've fostered healing, equipped them with life skills, and empowered them to become contributing members of society. These children have built families of their own, breaking the cycle of abuse and becoming more than just statistics.

Kwasa College started as a small outreach program in Daggafontein, Gauteng in 2002. Over the past two decades, it has grown into an established school that has brought safety and learning to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Soft-landings Partnership: In the very early days Badger, Soft-landings contributes financially towards textbooks and food packs here. With the support of the Soft Landings Foundation, African Independent brokers has contributed to this amazing outreach programme with donations that include: playground equipment, new vehicles, new pathways, painting of their chapel, and providing for a computer centre.

The need to continually support Kwasa College: Cares for many children from the ages of 5-6 years old to 17-18 years old.

Grace Community Projects, established in 2017 and located in Blanco, George, reaches out to the youth to help them stay in school, finish their education and to break the cycle of poverty. Grace Community Projects also assist abused children and women.

By empowering the youth to pursue their dreams, they can live a life of purpose.

Kids Haven is a registered South African NPO, founded in October 1992 and situated in Benoni, Gauteng. Kids Haven provides protection and care for vulnerable children including street children, through the provision of shelter, education, training and therapy. Since inception, Kids Haven have managed to change the lives of 5,135 children, and they continue to do so.

Soft-Landings in the community of George: Soft-landings has been supporting Life Community Services for many years now. Empowering them to leave a lasting impact on the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa, they have been reaching thousands of children each month through feeding schemes, schools, and many other initiatives for the last 21 years.

In 1998, amidst the HIV/AIDS crisis, Bezaleel Home emerged as more than a refuge - it became a family. We offer orphaned children a lifelong haven within their own communities, providing love, support, and a sense of belonging.
